‘Harry Was a Cow Caller’

The Keady Livestock auction has been active since the 1950’s. The original barn is the repurposed church horse barn and over the years has grown in patchwork and repairs as needed. It has an old school feel to it. This weekly social and business gathering of farmers, most since they were children have witnessed the changing farm industry. Today cattle fill the holding ring, at one time it was hogs.
